Most signal problems clear with a few quick checks. Work down this list in order.
Quick fixes first
- Toggle Airplane Mode on, wait ten seconds, then off. This forces your phone to reconnect to the network.
- Restart the phone. It is a cliche because it works.
- Check you have not hit a data cap or an unpaid bill, both show in the app.
Still nothing?
- Check the service status page for any incident or maintenance in progress.
- Check coverage at your location, especially if the problem only happens in one place.
- If you use an eSIM, run through the eSIM troubleshooting guide, it covers SOS-only states and eSIM line settings.
When it is worth a ticket
If service was fine and stopped, or the problem follows you between locations, sign in and raise a ticket. Tell us your postcode, your phone model, and when it started, that detail cuts the diagnosis time in half.
